The new six-song EP, Totally Normal, from Metro-Detroit's Mango Star takes a buzzier rock approach than their previous LP, Wasted Daydream. With more mature subject matter in tow - ranging from love loss to teenage nostalgia to troubles with human connection. This bundle of songs keeps their optimistic sound at the forefront while pulling influences from Roxy Music, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Hum and the White Stripes.

The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by DeLeano Acevedo at Del Club in Ferndale, MI with band members Rachel Kayuk (vocals + synths), Lauren Diem (vocals + guitar), Alathea Reese (bass). Don Blum performs drums live with the band.
